Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC): A clear and current police record check is mandatory for all roles.

Crisis Prevention Training: To ensure you feel confident and prepared, we require volunteers to have (or be willing to obtain) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.

Our graceful orientation process ensures every volunteer feels ready and confident. Typically, joining our group of neighbors helping neighbors takes 1 to 2 weeks from your first inquiry to your first friendly visit.
